Beaumont People is collaborating with William Clarke College to recruit their People & Culture Manager. The People & Culture Manager is integral role of the Senior Leadership Team within the College.

The People & Culture Manager is a key leadership position at the College working closely with the Deputy Head and the Head of College.  The People & Culture Manager will oversee the daily operations of the People & Culture team, fostering relationships at all levels to enhance processes and offer guidance on people management matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise the People & Culture team
  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding and staff development
  • Strategically manage workforce planning
  • Provide expert IR/ER advice, ensuring full compliance with current IR legislation and relevant industrial instruments
  • Monitor key metrics, manage reporting and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Oversee all aspects of work health & safety (WHS)
  • Manage team operations and provide ongoing support
  • Offer coaching and guidance to leadership in a constructive and empowering manner
  • Coaching and supporting leaders in a supportive manner
  • Manage high-priority projects: including Wellbeing and development program
   The Successful Candidate
  • Extensive leadership experience in HR roles (preferably in Education)
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and legislation
  • Experience in business planning and aligning HR strategies with organisational goals
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work closely with the leadership team to shape strategic people initiatives
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing HR teams
  • Exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Capable of performing duties in alignment with the College’s Purpose, Values and Code of Conduct
