About the Role
Payroll Specialist/Analyst for a short-term project to review yearly pay point progressions for employees covered by the SCHADS Award (Social, Community, Home Care, and Disability Services Award). The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing employee pay point progressions
- Identify Discrepancies: Identify and resolve any discrepancies in pay point progression, ensuring that all salary adjustments are made retroactively, if applicable.
- Calculate Required Payments: Accurately calculate any back pay or adjustments based on progression through pay points.
- Review Yearly Pay Point Progressions: Review employee records to verify compliance with the SCHADS Award for yearly pay point progressions.
- Check Compliance: Ensure that employees have progressed to the correct pay point for the appropriate year, in line with the award.
- Report Preparation: Prepare detailed reports outlining pay point progression, back pay calculations, and any outstanding adjustments.
Skills & Attributes
- Experience working as a Payroll Officer or similar role.
- Confident in using systems & data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with SCHADS award
