Position Objectives
The Manager, Client Services and Operations will be responsible for business development and operational oversight for the community transport services offered by Connect: Inner West Community Transport Group. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing commercial relationships, particularly with aged and disability package providers and managers, to enhance client services.
The Manager will lead a small operations and engagement team, focusing on client engagement, customer service, growth, and best practices.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Manage the scheduling and organisation of transport services to ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of services
- Provide guidance and support, and facilitate ongoing skills development in the team
- Manage the integration of client engagement initiatives into day-to-day transport operations
- Lead new client intake process and post intake new and continuing client activation activities
- Manage the preparation of rosters for operational staff ensuring optimal allocation of staff
- Provide input into the preparation of mandatory reports and adhere to contract obligations with various government agencies including TfNSW
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in the community services sector
- An understanding of the diverse needs and requirements of community transport clients.
- Well-developed leadership, management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of community, client, stakeholder and staff engagement
- Experience with core business and despatch technology systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong analytical thinking, business analysis and ICT skills.
- First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Willingness to undertake a Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 and National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
- NSW driver’s license
