Human Resource Generalist

Beaumont People are thrilled to be partnered with Richmond Dairies to find a highly motivated and experienced Human Resource (HR) Generalist  to lead strategic HR initiatives that support the company’s growth and operational objectives. Position Overview
As a Human Resource Generalist, you will be responsible for developing HR and WHS policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing workplace relations, overseeing recruitment, and supporting employee well-being. You will work closely with senior management and employees to create an inclusive and compliant work environment.

 
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and review HR and WHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Monitor and respond to legislative and regulatory changes, ensuring company-wide adherence.
• Conduct investigations into workplace disputes, grievances, and incidents, ensuring fair resolution.
• Attend disciplinary meetings, document proceedings, and assist in developing performance management plans.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including interviews, contracts, pre-employment health checks, induction, and training.
• Develop and implement employee engagement and well-being initiatives to improve workplace satisfaction.
• Manage workers’ compensation cases, working closely with insurers, employees, and rehabilitation providers.
• Develop and monitor Return to Work Plans, ensuring appropriate support for injured employees.
• Act as the company representative in enterprise bargaining negotiations and liaise with the Fair Work Commission for compliance.
• Provide guidance on interpreting enterprise agreements to both management and employees.
• Assist with all HR-related matters, providing expert advice on policies, employee relations, and workforce compliance.
• Maintain and update HR records, reports, and compliance documentation
• Any other related duties.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

•  A Bachelor’s degree in Business majoring in Human Resources (minimum requirement).
• Demonstrated experience in a HR role.
• Permanent residency and eligibility to work in Australia.
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle conflict resolution and workplace negotiations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in data entry.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to support HR decision-making.
