We have partnered with a leading Not for Profit Membership Organisation that is an expert in the Aged Care industry. Their core focus is to advocate for and unite the vision of their members, whilst supporting them to provide high-quality care and services.
About the Role
As the Consultant for this role you will identify and review the existing programs, services and resources (including member only services and supports that are available) from all sources, to support their preparation for the introduction of the Aged Care Act 2024. You will then map these to the key requirements under the legislation.
About You
You have a strong understanding of the Aged Care sector , including key reforms and industry challenges. Your research and analytical skills enable you to assess complex information and translate it into clear, actionable insights.
With excellent interpersonal skills, you build strong relationships with colleagues and establish credibility and rapport with stakeholders. Your ability to simplify complex concepts ensures effective communication and engagement across various audiences.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Undertake an analysis of programs, services and resources offered to support providers prepare for the introduction of the Aged Care Act 2024.
- Consult with colleagues and members to assess sector preparedness for the introduction of the Act including managing risk.
- Identify and recommend new, or adaptations to existing Services & Sector Capacity unit offerings to ensure they meet provider needs and/or address high risk areas, avoid duplication, are coordinated and messaging is consistent.
- Prepare a ‘Roadmap for providers’ resource that showcases how providers can meet the requirements of the Aged Care Act and what supports are available.
- Collaborate with key Services & Sector Capacity teams to support evaluation of recommended programs, services and/or partnerships and implementation where appropriate.
- Collaborate with the Member Relations and Policy and Advocacy Teams to be able to understand member services offerings, and to gain feedback from critical member groups.
- Design a model of ongoing services and resources to support providers achieve best practice.
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience and understanding of the Aged Care sector, key reforms and challenges.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated skills in distilling complex information into easy-to-understand concepts and actions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to form strong working relationships with colleagues and build credibility and rapport with stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time and project management skills with experience in managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
