LEAD Scholarship Terms and Conditions of Entry

1. Eligibility: The '15 Years' Charity Celebration Giveaway 

"2024 LEAD Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as "the Scholarship") is open to employees of Australian-based Charitable organisations, who are in good standing, have been employed with the organisation for a minimum of one year and who are in a leadership position. It is open to Registered Public Benevolent Institutions, Health Promotion Charities, Environmental Charities and International Aid.  

2. Nomination Deadline: Nominations for the Scholarship must be submitted by Monday, 9th December 2024, 11:59pm AEDT. 

3. Nomination Process: 

  • Eligible nominators (leaders within the organisation) may nominate up to three (3) individuals from within the organisation.  
  • Nominators must seek the approval of nominees in advance, to ensure commitment to the six-month program.  
  • Nominees must provide a compelling reason for their nomination, detailing why the they deserves to be a recipient of the Scholarship. 

 

4. Selection Process: 

  • Nominations will be reviewed and winners will be selected by a scholarship selection judging panel, appointed by Beaumont People.  
  • Selection is only considered to those who fill out all mandatory fields.  
  • The judging panel will look at the reason for the nomination to make their decision on who would be the best fit for the Scholarship.   
  • The decision of the selection panel is final and binding. 

 

5. Scholarship Value: Each scholarship recipient will be awarded a scholarship valued at $1,995 + GST, which covers the cost of enrolment in the LEAD Professional Development and Mentoring Program (Advanced Pathway). 

6. Scholarship Duration: The scholarship covers the cost of a six-month enrolment in the LEAD Professional Development and Mentoring Program starting in February 2025.  

7. Announcement of Recipients: The names of the scholarship recipients will be announced on w/c 16th December 2024 on Beaumont People’s website. 
  

8. Contact Information: It is the responsibility of the nominator to provide accurate and up-to-date contact information for themselves and the nominated individuals. 
  

9. Publicity: By accepting the scholarship, scholarship recipients agree to allow Beaumont People to use their personal and organisational names, photographs, and other relevant information for publicity and promotional purposes. 

10. Privacy: Personal information collected during the nomination and selection process will be handled in accordance with Beaumont People's privacy policy.  

 
11. Non-Transferable: The scholarship is non-transferable and may not be transferred to another individual or team member or LEAD intake.  

 
12. Disqualification: Beaumont People reserves the right to disqualify any nominee or nominator found to be in violation of these terms and conditions or engaged in fraudulent activities.  

 
13. Changes to Terms: Beaumont People reserves the right to modify or cancel the Scholarship at any time, without prior notice.  

 
14. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New South Wales, Australia.
